Aidan John LeVine, 3
Cherished son & brother with a loving nature and infectious laugh
Aidan John LeVine passed away peacefully between his mom and his dad on the morning of May 18th, 2020 at nearly four years old. He passed from an intestinal condition so rare that it doesn't even have a name and is not found until it's too late.
Aidan was born on June 8th, 2016 at RUMC on Staten Island to parents Brenna LeVine (nee Woll) and Christopher LeVine. Aidan was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Dyspraxia at 17 months old. He was non-verbal but communicated with his family and friends through his eyes, gestures, and sign-language. He loved eating ice pops, playing with his cars, trucks and trains and watching Blippi.
Despite having Autism, Aidan was extremely affectionate and very loving. He was so special and very smart. Part of Aidan's magic was his laugh that was so infectious. He was a great big brother to Liam, kissing him before bed every night and loved holding his hand. He was a star student at Children At Play in Bulls Head. Aidan was an excellent listener, he looked forward to seeing his teachers and classmates. He had a love for learning and doing well in all that he did. Despite his struggles with Autism, Aidan persevered and worked hard each and every day.
Aidan is survived by his parents Brenna and Christopher, little brother Liam, grandparents Eileen Woll, Peter Woll and Joanne and John LeVine, great-grandparents Eileen Finley and Jack "Pop" LeVine, uncles Cory Woll and Keith LeVine (Godfather), and aunt Kerrin Woll (Godmother).
The family is hosting a viewing at Bedell-Pizzo in Tottenville on Monday, May 25th from 2-6pm, open to all but social distancing will be applied.
