Frank Joseph Artale was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 24, 1941, to the late Angelina (Leonardi) Artale and Frank Artale. Frank worked for the United States Postal Service as a truck driver and was also a member of the Teamsters Union for Local 804.

Frank is predeceased by his brother Thomas Artale. Frank is also survived by his son Frank Artale, daughter Angela Artale, and Brother Joseph Artale. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Christian Miller and Coleton Artale, as well as three nieces and three nephews.
