Albert Vincent Fattorusso, a devoted family man and lifelong New Yorker, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Albert embodied the strength, warmth, and enduring spirit of the city he loved. In 2003, he made Staten Island his home, where he continued to cherish time with family and friends, building a life rooted in loyalty, quiet strength, and love.
Albert was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joy Fattorusso, with whom he shared a lifetime of devotion and partnership. He was fortunate to find companionship again later in life, spending the past 15 years with his loving partner, Connie Mannarino, who brought him comfort, and unwavering support.
He is survived by his daughters, Laura Slavin and her husband Peter, and Lisa Fattorusso and her partner George Ritacco; his granddaughters Sofia Locker and Madison Locker and her fiancé Ariel Peralta, his brother, Bill Fattorusso and his wife Maureen; and many nieces and nephews who loved and admired him dearly.
Albert found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was a die hard Met fan who loved to catch a game at Citi Field along with a good day at the racetrack, trips to the Borgata, and any time spent at a great restaurant. His sharp wit, quiet wisdom, and unwavering loyalty made him a beloved presence in the lives of all who knew him.
Albert's legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired, the traditions he upheld, and the love he gave so freely.
