Angela K. Idone

Angela K. Idone (nee LaCirasella) was born on August 10, 1951 to Rose Rizzo LaCirasella and Richard LaCirasella. Angela was born in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from St. Francis Xavier Elementary School in Park Slope, Brooklyn. She attended Bishop Kearney High School in Brooklyn, where she graduated at 16 years old with honors.

Angela was then employed as a secretary at Chemical Bank in Manhattan. She was quickly made an administrative assistant with four secretaries! She married her high school sweetheart, Anthony Idone. They had two sons, Joseph and Richard. Angela was a devoted mother and wife. Her family came before anything else.

She volunteered her time at her sons schools. She taught religious instruction at her church, St. Joseph-St. Thomas, for over ten years. Angela was an excellent cook and baker. She made beautiful crafts for everyone, including the pediatric cancer patients at Northwell Hospital on Staten Island.

Angela was thoughtful, selfless and brave. She faced pancreatic cancer on her own terms. She fought it courageously for three years. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Idone; her loving sons Joseph Idone and Robert Idone; her loving sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Frank Morano; her nephews and nieces and great-nephews and nieces; many cousins and friends.

Her wake will be Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 4pm to 8pm, at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Amboy Road on Staten Island. Her funeral mass will be at Church of the Holy Child, Amboy Road, on Monday, January 5 at 11am.
