Ann Sergi

Ann Sergi, affectionately known as “Honey,” of Staten Island, NY, passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 88.

Born on July 8, 1937, in Brooklyn, NY, Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony Sergi; her son Salvatore; her loving parents, Salvatore and Rose Vallone; and her brothers Thomas, Robert, and Joseph.

She is survived by her devoted daughter Donna Fay and husband Patrick; and devoted daughter, Dianne Sergi. Ann was the proud grandmother of Patricia Martin (husband Paul), Bryan Fay, and Melissa D’Amico (husband Salvatore), and the cherished great-grandmother of Grace and Evelyn Martin, and Elizabeth, Sophia, and Daniel D’Amico.

Ann was a kind, gentle, loving, and generous person whose infectious smile and warm personality could light up any room. She was caring and patient, always putting the needs of others before her own.

Every birthday and Christmas, Ann took each of her grandchildren shopping separately, one-on-one, because she wanted to spend quality time with each of them and create lasting memories. These special outings—filled with laughter, shared meals, and the joy of choosing the perfect gift—remain vivid in the hearts of Patricia, Bryan, and Melissa to this day.

Throughout her life, Ann faced many illnesses with courage and faith. Her optimism and God’s grace helped her overcome challenges that might have ended her life early. Her strength and unconditional love for her family were a true blessing to all who knew her.

Words cannot express how deeply she will be missed. We can’t even list everything in this short summary of her life—all the ways she blessed and loved everyone in her family, including her children, her parents, her grandchildren, and beyond. Her spirit, love, and legacy will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. We are so very blessed to have had her in our lives for all these years.
