Anna Miceli

Anna “Nancy” Miceli, formally known as Nancy Ashmore, passed away on September 24, 2022. Anna was a native Staten Islander. She lived on Staten Island all of her life and attended McKee High School and Dorothy Kane Business School in Manhattan. She worked as a switchboard inspector. She left her job to raise her three children and later, returned back to work for Dr. Anthony Miceli for 10 years.

Anna loved to spend her winters at her home in West Palm Beach, Florida. She loved to play bridge; she enjoyed trips to Atlantic City; she enjoyed the songs ‘How Great Thou Are’ and ‘Be Not Afraid’ and loved to travel to many places with her husband Peter.

Anna is predeceased by her husband, Peter.

She is survived by her sons, Dr. Peter (Moira) Miceli and Philip Miceli, and her daughter Marianne (Joe) Wittreich. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all.

Visitation will be held at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, 7447 Amboy Road ,Staten Island, NY 10307 on Friday September 30, 2022 from 3-7 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians RC Church, 7396 Amboy Road Staten Island, NY 10307 on Saturday October 1, 2022 at 10 AM.
