Barbara Cowen

Barbara Cowen, 86 passed away on October 23, 2022. Barbara was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. She was a beautician and owned the Village Beauty Shoppe in Pleasant Plains.

Barbara enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, dancing, jazz music, classic movies, sci- fi and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Barb was always beautifully manicured with not a hair out of place.

Beloved mother to Guy Cowen, Teresa Cowen, Scott Budalich and Michele McCabe. Beloved Mother in Law to Kathy Cowen, Karen Hansen and Hugh McCabe.

Beloved Gram to Kimberly, Keric, Jessica, Jordan, Jake, Ben, Julia, Hugh and Sean. Beloved Great Grandmother to Michael, Vincent,  Damian, Dylan, and Evan

Mom will be greatly missed.
