Beatrice Menghi

Bea Menghi, 90, was born on Jan 20, 2017, in Brooklyn, N.Y. She passed away at home on March 7, 2017, in Staten Island, N.Y.
Her kindness, love and devotion for animals is a tribute to the beauty of her heart and soul. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her niece, Alice Garet; nephews, Charles Brugnolotti and Ronald Banaszek; her great-nephews, Michael Brugnolotti, Charles Brugnolotti Jr., Joseph Brugnolotti and Stephen Brugnolotti; great-nieces, Jennifer Mazzie, Joanne McElroy and Lisa Purvis, as well as 11 great-great-nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on March 9, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home in Staten Island, N.Y.
Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas R.C. Church in Staten Island at 9:30 a.m. on March 10, 2017.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to either the North Shore Animal League or the Wounded Warrior Project, both favorites of Beatrice.
