Bernice J. Eysel, 92, passed away on January 14, 2021, at Staten Island University Hospital.
Bernice was a lifelong Staten Islander. She lived in Richmond Valley and in Tottenville. She was a homemaker who most enjoyed being a Mom and Grandmother. She loved spending quality time with her grandchildren.
She worked to help put her son through school. Bernice enjoyed travelling and was a member of the Rosary and Alter Society at Our Lady Help of Christian's .
Bernice was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert, Sr. She is survived by her loving children, Robert, Jr., Michael (Cookie), Thomas, Christopher (Mary), 5 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral from Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Help of Christian's RC Church at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation is at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
