Biagio Schiano
November 2, 1929 — April 2, 2023
Biagio Schiano, 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 2, 2023. He was born in Monte DiProcida, Naples, Italy in 1929. He then came to America and settled in Brooklyn, New York in 1948. He was a baker for one year then became a longshoreman retiring in 1978.
Biagio was in the Army during the Korean War. He married Jennie Schiano Lomoriello in 1951 and they started a family.
He enjoyed travelling, dining, and his wine and did everything "his way"!
Biagio was pre-deceased by his wife, Jennie. He is survived by his children, Salvatore (Linda) Schiano, Carmela Schiano (Jay Nelson), Tina (John) Kelly; his grandchildren, Salvatore, Michael, Carmie, John, Jenna; and great grandchildren, Salvatore, Sophia, Easton, and Miles.
