Carol Spoto

Carol Spoto, 60, of Arden Heights, a homemaker who loved spending time with her family, died Sunday in Staten Island University Hospital, Prince's Bay.

The lifelong Staten Islander was born and raised Carol Earley in Tottenville, and graduated from Tottenville High School.

After she and Richard Spoto were married, the couple settled in Arden Heights.

In her leisure time, Mrs. Spoto enjoyed watching classic movies on television.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph/St. Thomas R.C. Parish, Pleasant Plains.

Surviving Mrs. Spoto, in addition to Richard, her husband of 39 years, are her sons, Richard and Jeffrey; her mother, Audrey Earley, and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be Wednesday from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, with a mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church, both in Tottenville. Arrangements include cremation.
