Cynthia J. Carmine of Staten Island and Northport, NY passed away at home in Fort Myers, Florida on September 1, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Brooklyn in 1935 to Ottavio and Christine Nappi. She fondly remembered her childhood riding horses in Prospect Park, exploring the woods on horseback of Long Island and New Jersey and spending time with her best friends, the “Clovers”. She was a lifelong lover of horses and dogs and devoted many years to raising and training German Shepherds. She also served as the president of the German Shepherd Club of Staten Island. She was a gifted artist and leaves behind many treasured paintings. She had a deep love for her family and friends, a generous and fun-loving spirit, and enduring passion for the Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Mets.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Vincent. She is survived by her children Andrea (Wayne) Baldassare and Vincent (Lisa); grandchildren Vivienne (Chris), Lily (Derek), and Vincent; and great-granddaughter Francesca.
