Dawn Cangro

Dawn Marie Cangro, 45, died Feb. 24, 2017, at Richmond University Medical Center
Born in Staten Island, Dawn lived in Rosebank for 45 years. She graduated from St. Peter's Girls High School and attended St. John's University. She was a successful sales manager for 20 years.
Dawn enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and was a fan of New England Patriots, enjoyed ceramics, writing poetry, and caring for her two children and four cats.
She attended Holy Rosary Church.
Dawn is survived by her husband of two years, Raymond Gilligan; her two daughters, Alena and Alexis; stepdaughter,Victoria; father, Peter Cangro; mother, Theresa Oliveri, stepdad, Pete Oliveri; brother, Pete Cangro; sister, Michele Cangro; sister in law, Angelina; brother in law, Alan; nieces, Amber, Eliana, Giavanna, and nephew, Gianni.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at Our Lady Help of Christian's R.C. Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.Friends may visit Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
