Dominick Dellegrazie

Dominick Dellegrazie passed away on May 5th, 2025, at the age of 74, surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 16, 1950, in Brooklyn, New York, he was a man of dedication and perseverance, known for his commitment to both his family and his career.

Dominick had a long and distinguished career, serving as a New York City police officer, a Captain for the Sea Gate Police in Brooklyn, and later working within the Department of Consumer Affairs. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to own and operate Double Dees Chariot Collision for 35 years.

An alumnus of New Utrecht High School, graduating in 1968, Dominick also attended Brooklyn College, furthering his education and personal development.

Dominick is survived by his devoted wife, Fran (DiLorenzo) Dellegrazie, with whom he shared 50 wonderful years of marriage. He leaves behind a loving family, including his sister, Roseann; and five children, Dina Knell, Dominick Vito (Elizabeth), Michael, Michele Hahn (Jarrett), and Dominick Santino. His legacy continues through his eight grandchildren, Victoria, Samantha, Kathleen, Benjamin, Jayden, Julian, Jaxson, Jovian; and a great-grandchild, Greyson, who brought immense joy to his life.

Dominick Dellegrazie’s spirit will be deeply missed, but the love he shared and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
