Donald W. Maine

Donald W. Maine passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026 at his home in Staten Island, NY. 

He was born in Manhattan, NY on September 23, 1936 to Helen & Charles Maine. He was a proud member of Metal Lathers, Local 46 for 43 years before retiring in 1999. He married the love of his life Anne McKeon in June 1959. They raised 3 children in Jackson, NJ before moving to Staten Island in 1976.

 He had a love for watching John Wayne movies, old Westerns and his favorite sports teams, Notre Dame Football and the New York Rangers. He also enjoyed playing a round of golf and spending time with family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Donald J. Maine, a brother Charles Maine, sisters Irene Crotty and Mary Ellen Hargadon, and grandsons Phillip Zerbo and Christopher Thorgersen.

 He is survived by his wife Anne of 67 years, 2 daughters and son in laws, Marilyn & Frank Perrotta, Lori & George Thorgersen, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, his brother John (Butch) and Lorraine Maine, brother and sisters in law, John & Eva McKeon, Marilyn McKeon, and Joan McGrath as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
