Donna Shashaty

Donna Shashaty, age 67 of Staten Island New York, passed away on March 14 2026. She was born on February 17, 1959 in Mount Holly New Jersey, to John and Frances Skinner.

Donna will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to family and faith which served as the foundation of everything she was. She had a true passion for cooking, and her gift in the kitchen was matched only by the love she poured into every meal she prepared. Those who knew her will never forget her brightest of smiles. She had a way of lighting up every room she entered. Above all, Donna lived her life with a quiet selflessness, and possessed a rare and beautiful ability to bring people together, making everyone around her feel seen, loved, and at home.

Donna is survived by her husband, Tom Shashaty Sr, her two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy Jr and Jennifer, and Daniel and Paige as well as her two grandchildren, Francesca and Sonny, and another grandson on the way.
