Edward LaFeir Jr.

March 11, 1935 — March 31, 2020

Edward J LaFeir JR passed away at home peacefully on March 31, 2020 surrounded by his family.   Born in the Bronx he moved with his family and resided and went to school in Brooklyn before entering the US Army.  Edward served between 1955 To 1963 Including over seas tours in Germany which he enjoyed telling numerous stories to his friends and family.  After leaving the service Edward went on to a career on Wall Street culminating with his retirement as an IT/Telecommunications Vice President from Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner and Smith.

After retirement Eddie and his wife Maryann relocated to Pennsylvania before retrurning to Staten Island shortly before his death

Edward was a member of the Watkins Kellet American legion post on Staten Island.  Edward was a huge sports fan.  A NY Giant season ticket holder he loved to go to all the home games dressed in his Pittsburgh Steelers attire.  He also was a big fan of horse racing and loved to go to the track.

Edward is pre deceased by his mother and father Marion and Edward LaFeir Sr, his brother Lawrence and sister Kathy Bleil along with a sister in law Laura Stewart. Edwards wife of 32 years Maryann  passed on April 3rd shortly after his death.

Edward is survived by his brother Walter LaFeir and Lillian, sisters Marion Isaksen and Loriane and Joseph Mazur   In laws Paul and Cathy Pogozelski  and Fran Innamorato. His children Dawn LaFeir, Keith and Nancy LaFeir,Nicole and Joseph  SanFilippo, Bruce and Ann LaFeir and Marie Sevilla. His grandchildren, Brittany, Kristen, Keith, Jillian, Jackson,Toby, Joseph, Alysa, Isabella, Elizabeth, Anthony, Mateo,Selena and his great grandchild Andre Miller Jr.
