Edward F Latourette (“Ed/Eddie”) of Great Kills passed away after a short illness on April 24, 2020, at the age of 46. Eddie is survived by his parents Patricia & Edward, his wife Stefanie, his daughter Ella, and his sister Patricia.

Eddie was born on October 7, 1973, in Staten Island, NY. He graduated from CUNY, College of Staten Island with a Bachelors Degree in 1996 and later received his Masters in Education. He was a History teacher at Curtis High School since 2001, and before that worked at John Jay High School. He married Stefanie DeFeo in April of 2014, and they welcomed their beautiful daughter Ella Rose on October 16, 2018. He doted on and adored Ella, she and Stefanie were the joy of his life. His entire family and anyone that knew him can say that he loved his life, he loved his family.

All are welcome to say farewell at Bedell Pizzo Funeral Home 9:30-12:30 on Friday, May 1, 2020. He will be laid to rest at 1 pm at Resurrection Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the hospital staff in SIUH North-ED3 that cared for Eddie for 24 days… their efforts, care and love cannot ever be repaid.
