Elvira was a beautiful soul who can light up any room she walks into. She was a mother to 4, grandmother to 8 and great grandmother to 9 young kids.
She loved to play cards, go shopping, go to their house in Pennsylvania and drink many cups of coffee each day. Elvira loved to laugh and enjoy every day of life with her family. She was a provider and caretaker for her children and grandchildren when they were in need. She was the type of person to always put others before herself.
She was the perfect wife to her husband, Onielo. They married in Brooklyn of 1953 then eventually settled in Staten Island. Their love lasted 65 years married and now they are reunited again in the Lord's house. Her health declined over the past few years but God kept her strong and fighting through every obstacle until the very last moment.
Mom, your loving, caring ways were so precious to us. You have always showed your love and care. You will remain with us all throughout our lives until we are all together again, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Hugs and kisses. May she rest in peace.
All our love,
Maryann, Ronald, Neil, and Stephen
