Frank Oliva

Frank Oliva, 88, passed away September 10, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Frank was the youngest of fifteen children, something that he was very proud of and would mention to everyone he met.  That and the fact he was born on the site of the old polo grounds in Brooklyn, New York.   Frank, being an avid sports fan, loved following the NY Mets and NY Jets almost as much as he loved watching his grandkids participate in various sporting events.  He also enjoyed working on the Daily News crossword (improvising if needed).  In his earlier years, he would look forward to Sunday dinners at his sister's house playing poker and arguing with his siblings, so much so that he would continue those Sunday dinners with his own children and grandkids.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife of sixty years ,Cecilia; his children, Suzann Gorman, James Oliva, and David Oliva; his grandchildren, Tara Gorman, Kelsey Gorman, Joseph Gorman, August Oliva, Tesia Oliva, Penelope Oliva, And Bella Oliva.
