Frank Zwingraf

Frank T. Zwingraf, Princes Bay Resident and lifelong Staten Island resident passed away peacefully with his wife by his side. He was 80. Born and raised in Pleasant Plains, he was the oldest of four brothers.

While growing up in Pleasant Plains he played football with the Plainsmen Football team. He was a graduate of Tottenville High School and served in the Army.  Frank retired in 2002 from Local 1 Elevator Constructors Union. He served the industry for 42 years achieving the title of Constructor Forman. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society Men’s Club of St. Thomas, St Joseph, and St John Neumann Parish.

He is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Florence, and brother Robert. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Elaine, and His brothers Raymond, and Joseph. Mother-in-law Margeret Scheller, as his nieces and nephews Amanda, Miya, and Kai, to whom he was a special uncle.
