Glen Arne Midbo

Glen Arne Midbo passed away on May 25, 2023. Glen was born in Brooklyn to Oystein and Anny Midbo. He started his career with the FDNY at E-74, He was a 9/11 First Responder and eventually retired from the FDNY at E-151. He was a member of the GJOA soccer club in Brooklyn, and worked in Union 1556 as a Dock Builder.

Glen loved the outdoors. He loved to go fishing, boating, sailing, hunting, golfing and was an amazing masonry and carpenter. He loved listening to the band The Grateful Dead. He was very proud of his Viking Norwegian Heritage. He loved to also spend time with his family, pets, and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Glen is pre deceased by his mother Anny Midbo. He is surived by his wife Barrie Anne Midbo, son Ryan Midbo and daughter in law Jennifer Caggiano, daughter Erin Midbo and son in law Benjamin Sheppard, grandchildren Askel and Abigail Midbo, father Oystein Midbo, brother Jan Midbo and sister in law Mary Midbo, and nephew Erik Midbo.
