Jean Corso

Jean was born Giovannina Vittorio, on March 25, 1934, in Brooklyn, New York. Our beloved mother lived a life rooted in love, family, and friendship. She was the devoted wife of Anthony, and together they built a family filled with deep bonds, cherished traditions, and lasting memories for 42 years before his passing in 1999.

She was a loving mother to her sons, Sal and Anthony, and her daughter, Stephanie. She was a cherished mother-in-law to Lea, wife of Sal, and to John Chell, husband of Stephanie, both of whom she loved dearly.

Her greatest joy was her family. She was the proud grandmother of Salvatore (Lauren), Christopher (Nicole), Samantha, Anthony, Gianna, Vince, Ella, Kyle (Tiffany), and Olivia, and a treasured great-grandmother to Casey, Sophia, and Campbell, who brought endless smiles to her heart.

Throughout Jean’s life, she found great joy in traveling with her husband and children, taking memorable trips to Atlantic City with her beloved “club girls,” decorating her home with care and pride, and spending time creating beautiful Japanese rock gardens in her yard. She also loved playing cards, where laughter, conversation, and connection filled the room. She especially enjoyed listening to her favorite music by Bruno Mars and watching game shows such as Deal or No Deal!

She also took great pride in owning and operating her children’s boutique, Swee’ Peas for over 16 years that brought her happiness, purpose, and many treasured relationships.

She lived a beautiful life surrounded by many friends and family who adored her. Her kindness, strength, warmth, and unwavering love will be remembered always by those fortunate enough to have known her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through generations.

Jean is reunited with her beloved husband, Anthony, in Eternal Life. She will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts.
