Jean Franklino

Mar 2, 1933 — Jul 26, 2026

Jean Franklino, age 93, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026.

Born on March 2, 1933, Jean lived a long and fulfilling life centered on the people she loved most.

Jean was predeceased by her beloved husband, John, and her parents, Connie and Charlie. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted son, John; her daughter-in-law, Susan; her grandson, John; her granddaughter, Dana; and her cherished granddog, Lola, all of whom brought her immeasurable joy.

Although she enjoyed her career as a concierge, Jean's true passion was creating a warm and beautiful home. She took great pride in homemaking, loved cleaning and decorating, and found happiness in making her surroundings welcoming for those she loved. In her younger years, Jean loved to dance, and throughout her life she remained active, taking daily walks and caring for herself with remarkable dedication. She had a wonderful sense of style, always looked her best, faithfully kept her hair appointments, and was known for her youthful spirit. She delighted in keeping everyone guessing about her age—a playful secret she happily maintained.

Jean also had a gift for bringing her family together around the table. Every holiday, her homemade potato croquettes were the highlight of the meal, and family members would jokingly compete for the last one. It was one of the many traditions that made every gathering feel like home. A devoted baseball fan, Jean rarely missed a New York Mets game on television. Cheering on the Mets was one of her favorite pastimes, and whether they won or lost, she remained a loyal fan through every season.

Above all else, Jean's greatest love was her family. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her grandchildren, and she shared a special bond with her beloved granddog, Lola. Her kindness, elegance, unwavering love, and the memories she created around her family table will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Jean's legacy is one of love, laughter, family traditions, and a life beautifully lived. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
