Jean Puntorieri

Jean Puntorieri, 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 17, 2023.  

Jean was the last surviving child out of six children of Louis and Gussie Bellera.  She was a travel agent and retired to Las Vegas in 1993. She returned back home to Staten Island seven years ago to be with her family.   Cooking and feeding family and friends was her biggest passion.  She also loved Frank Sinatra and playing the penny slots at the casinos.  

Jean took such pride in the amount of grandchildren and great grandchildren she had and she loved singing to the little ones.  Her family was everything to her!

Jean is pre-deceased by her husband of fifty-eight years, Joseph Puntorieri and her daughter, Jean Columbia  She is the beloved mother of Joan Curti and Janet Mandile; adored grandmother to ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; and a second Mom to so many including Dennis DiDio, Frank DiDio, Arlene Behar, Linda Macardy, Cathy Lauritano.

Jean was so very loved and will be missed by all.
