Joann Cornacchio

Joann Cornacchio, 79,  passed away on July 5, 2026.  Born on November 18,1946, Joann was the beloved daughter of Joseph Immiti Sr, and Marie Immiti. 

She was a lifelong resident of Staten Island and a proud graduate of Curtis High School. Joann enjoyed a successful and fulfilling career throughout her life. She began as a private secretary at Walston Company Brokerage Firm before following her passion for hairstyling by owning and operating Playgirl Hairstyle. Later, she dedicated many years of service as a school aide with the Department of Education, where she touched the lives of countless students and colleagues. 

Joann found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved bowling, shopping, getting lost in a good book, collecting antique dolls, and surrounding herself with treasured collectibles. Her home reflected her warm and vibrant personality, filled with beautiful porcelain dolls and cherished keepsakes collected over the years. Above all else, Joann's greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren. They were the center of her world, bringing her endless happiness and pride. She adored her grandchildren, Bubala and Dollie beyond measure. Her unconditional love, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion created memories that will be treasured forever. 

Joann is survived by her children, Jennifer, Christopher, and Christina, her daughter-in-law Sharon and her grandchildren, Christopher and Sienna. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her kindness, warmth, and boundless love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
