Joseph C. Steinhauer

Joseph C. Steinhauer, 86, passed away on July 8, 2025 with his loving children beside him. 

He married Lorraine McKinley in 1959 and they raised two daughters in Tottenville.

Joseph served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1956-1959. He worked for Schindler Elevator as a foreman retiring in 1998.

There were many hobbies that he enjoyed and he loved to ride his Harley, which he rode until his 85th birthday.

Joseph is pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Lorraine; his grandson, Kyle Miller; and son-in-law, John Miller. He is survived by his children, Debbie Marsh (Married to John), and Lori Miller; 8 grandchildren, John Marsh (Married to Crystal), Joseph Marsh (Married to Stephanie), Justin Marsh, Brandon Marsh (Married to Gabrielle), Dayna Marsh, Kevin Miller (Married to Katherine), Kristen Kramoff (Married to Paul); and 11 great grandchildren.
