Kathie Stone

Kathie Stone, a woman of boundless love and unwavering devotion to her family, passed away on March 2, 2026. She was 67 years old.

Born on January 5, 1959, to Robert and Miriam Kircher, Kathie was raised with the values of kindness, hard work, and compassion that would define her life. She carried those qualities with her in everything she did, touching countless lives along the way.

Kathie dedicated many years of service as an administrative assistant at the College of Staten Island. She was known by colleagues and students alike for her reliability, warmth, and ever-present willingness to help. Her friendly smile and gracious spirit made her loved by all who had the privilege of working with her.

Above all else, Kathie was a devoted mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her three beloved daughters, Lauren Frank, Katie Newman, and Megan Stone, as well as her cherished sons-in-law, David Frank and Alex Newman. Her greatest joy in life was being “Mimi” to her four treasured grandchildren—Ella, Scarlett, Xander, and Miley—who were the light of her life.

Kathie is also survived by her three brothers, David, Daniel, and Steven Kircher, along with their families, who will forever hold dear the memories of her gracious and loving heart.

Kathie’s life was a testament to selflessness, generosity, and unconditional love. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all who were blessed to know her, but her legacy of warmth and devotion will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
