Laura Pitre, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin & friend, left this world on September 5, 2025 surrounded by love.
She was loved most by her husband Edward, her children Christine & Vlad, Dana & Roger, Eddie & Shelby and Anthony & Cami and her 8 grandchildren - Benjamin, Jacob, Francesca, Jaxson, Milania, Isabella, Alexandra and Charli Jaymes. She was loved best by her mother, Dolores, and her sisters Anita & Janet and their families.
Laura, affectionately known as the Queen, was fiercely adored by her loyal subjects. She showered them with love and home jarred tomato sauce. Also chicken cutlets, seven layer cookies and her easy smile. Her door was always open. She was generous with her hugs & her affections. She liked flowers on her shoes, French vanilla in her coffee, and statues in her garden. There wasn’t a holiday she didn’t decorate the house for - but her Christmas was spectacular. She was a master Lego builder. An accomplished Lindy dancer and a terrific listener. She enjoyed Pilates and packing a cooler to take to the beach. She hosted countless dinner parties and grand kid sleep overs. She loved to travel. She was as devout a Catholic as she was an elementary school production attendee - she hardly missed church or a concert. She remembered everyone’s birthday and your favorite meal. She cooked for holidays as if she were feeding small villages - and in truth, she was. Everyone wanted her light to shine on them. She was the most gorgeous woman in any room, inside and out. Her memory will be a blessing to all who knew her.
