Lawrence Hynes
April 8, 1963 — January 26, 2023
On Thursday, January 26, beloved father, brother, husband, and die-hard Jets fan Lawrence Steve Michael "La-La" Hynes passed away. Larry was 59 years old, born to Lawrence and Julia Hynes in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where Larry was a tremendous athlete during his middle and high school years.
Larry was an avid sports fan and supporter of all non-Yankee franchises. He also found relaxation by watching low-budget horror and action movies or fast-forwarding through the entire Godfather franchise over the course of an hour. Larry is survived by his two brothers Michael and Steve, his wife Katherine, and his children Deloris, Elisabeth, and Christopher. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 1st, in Bedell - Pizzo Funeral Home at 10 AM.
