Lawrence Bromm

Lawrence J. Bromm, 70, passed away on February 13, 2022.  Larry is predeceased by his beloved wife, Therese, and his daughter-in-law, Tetyana. He is survived by his loving son, Michael, and his brother, Robert.

"My Dad was a hero and a warrior. A hero as a cop, and as a husband and father.

After Dad was shot on December 20, 1977, he moved forward with his life.  He raised me and was always there for me through good times and bad times.  Growing up, I idolized him.  He joined the Police Support Group in 1981 and always reached out to other wounded police officers.  His love for the NYPD was endless. He also remained very close to his partners from the 78th precinct.

Dad never complained about anything in his life.  He did everything that other people did; he drove and barbecued for family every 4th of July.  Family was most important to him.  He took care of his family and friends.
