Leon Brown

Leon Brown of Tottenville, age 80, died on Dec. 14, 2016, at home around family and friends.
Born on Staten Island, he was also a lifelong Staten Island resident. He graduated from Tottenville High School. Leon was a General Motors machinist and commercial fisherman who enjoyed oil painting and boating, and was an excellent handyman. He was part of the Princes Bay Boatman's Association.
Leon was predeceased in 2012 by his wife of 49 years, Paulette Brown. He is survived by his children, Leon Brown, Paulette Lauro, Nancy Brown, and three grandchildren.
Friends may visit Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home. Cremation is private.
