Leonard D. Kelly

Leonard (Lenny) Kelly passed away surrounded by his daughters on June 30, 2023.

Lenny was born November 30, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York . He moved to Staten Island in 1972 with his wife Bernadette to start their life and family . He proudly served his country in the US Navy aboard the USS Allagash. After returning from the Navy he became a member of the NYPD and served as a transit cop . Upon retirement he started his second career as a teacher in NJ . After 25 years of service as a teacher he retired for the second time and enjoyed time with his family .

Lenny is pre deceased by his wife Bernadette and son in law Philip. He is survived by his brother Henry, daughters Jennifer, Erin, son in law Christopher, grandchildren, Christopher , Sophia , Jessica , Giovanni and several nieces and nephews .
