Leonarda Pannone

Former Staten Island resident Leonarda (Nettie) Pannone, 88, a homemaker who will be remembered as loving, caring and generous, died Saturday at home.

Born Leonarda Sciascia in Brooklyn, she moved to Tottenville in 1995, and relocated to Freehold in 2002.

She was a member of the Howell (N.J.) Senior Center.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and grandchildren. She also enjoyed solving crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dominick; her daughters, Joann Graziano, Diane Ferguson, Antoinette Micciulli and Mariann Ramos; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be Monday from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church, Huguenot. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Services: A 10:00AM Mass of Christian Burial on Monday September 28,2015 at Our Lady Star of The Sea R.C. Church. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
