Lorraine Parenti

Lorraine Parenti, 84, of Annadale, a homemaker who enjoyed time with family, died Thursday in Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze.

Born Lorraine LaRubio in Brooklyn, she settled in Annadale in 1981.

A homemaker, Mrs. Parenti was parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church, Huguenot.

She was a very special person who was kind, patient and soft-spoken. She loved her family, grandchildren and great-granchildren. She was inseparable from her husband of 65 years and she was deeply loved and will be missed dearly, said her son, John Parenti.

Along with her son, John, also surviving are husband, Anthony; three other sons, Michael, Junior and Robert; two sisters, Rosie Parenti and Dolores LaCari; five grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

The funeral will be Monday from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville, with a mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Pleasant Plains.
