Lucille Molfetta, a beloved mother, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025 at the age of 84, surrounded by her family at her daughter Dorothy’s home.
She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and worked as an executive secretary before becoming a stay at home mother. Lucille had an identical twin sister, Dorothy, whom she adored and walked side by side through life with.
Lucille loved to travel and visited several wonders of the world. She loved art history and reading biographies about famous people of all walks of life. She later pursued her love of interior design and it became a part time passion.
She was a member of the Garden Club at The Snug Harbor Cultural Society, as well as a benefactor. She spent her golden years in Monroe, New Jersey with her beloved husband doing what she enjoyed most in life.
She is survived by her three children, and six grandchildren.
May she rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lucille’s memory to A Very Special Place would be appreciated. This organization holds special meaning to the family, as Lucille’s granddaughter, Alexandra, is a participant in the program
