Marcy Ramos

Marcy Joseph Ramos, 71 A very special person, beloved by everyone Marcy Joseph Ramos, 71, passed away on April 1, 2019, at home. Marcy graduated from Monsignor Farrell High School. He threw the first touchdown pass at Farrell. He then graduated from Manhattan College. He worked as a self-employed mechanical engineer. Marcy loved playing all sports, and most recently became an avid golfer. He was a voracious reader, especially science fiction. He also loved vacationing at Long Beach Island, and traveling extensively all over the globe. He was a warm , loving and gentle man and a "do-it-yourselfer." Marcy was a very special person and beloved by everyone. Marcy is survived by his wife, Nancy; his children, Taryn Ramos and Jessamyn DePaola (Vincent); his stepsons, Adam, Alex and Joseph Lisiewski; a brother, Joseph Ramos (Veronica); a sister, Joan Macaluso (Jack); eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. A funeral service will be held at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Friday at 11 a.m. Cremation will be private. Friends may visit on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
