Marie 'Cookie' Scarabaggio, 76
Longtime waitress enjoyed being with her family
Marie "Cookie" Scarabaggio, 76, passed away at Staten Island University Hospital on Oct. 8, 2018.
She was born in Brooklyn, then moved to Staten Island to Annadale. She was a waitress for 30 years working in various restaurants and worked at the Reo Diner in Woodbridge, NJ for many of those years. She enjoyed trips to AC, Las Vegas and liked playing blackjack. Marie enjoyed her family especially her grandchildren. She loved to sing to her family on Christmas Eve while she was making her fish salad.
Marie is survived by her husband, Daniel Sr., her children, Daniel Jr (Evelyn), Kenneth (Alyson), Ronald (Debra), Kathy Dordas (Rich), Mark (Stephanie), her mother, Catherine Tramontana-Camarda, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Funeral from Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Friday at 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
