Marjorie M. Buchheit (nee Barry) passed away on April 9, 2018, at Staten Island University Hospital North.
She was a graduate of Tottenville HS, class of 1944. Mrs. Buchheit was a clerk for the B & O Railroad, where she met the love of her life of 68 years, the late Raymond Buchheit.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church and was a member of the Stella Maris Guild and Altar Society. She enjoyed gardening, ice skating, horseback riding and spending time with her family, especially the summer vacations in Wildwood, N.J.
She will be missed dearly by her children, Danny, Tommy, Lorraine, Annie, Ruth, John, their spouses, 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Marge is also survived by her sister-in-law, Helen Barry, and predeceased by her brother, Thomas Barry .
Funeral from Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Friday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church at 10:15 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
