Mark Geidel

Mark Arthur Geidel, 55, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 , in his sleep at home in Tottenville, Staten island, N.Y., where he was a long time resident.  Mark was born on December 26, 1964 in Staten Island to Richard and Dagmar (Jacobsen) Geidel.  Mark was a home repair contractor, displaying a wonderful knack for solving any household problems.  Mark truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family and bonfires on the beach.  Mark had an uncanny ability to reach people in a personal and positive way through his pictures and movie-making, which everyone who knew and loves him will remember forever.  Mark's father, Richard Alfred Geidel pre-deceased him in March, 1984.  He is survived by his older sister, Nanci Geidel-Gregory; a sister, Susan Geidel; a brother, Eric (Patti) Geidel and nieces, Stella, Dana,Nicole, Chloe & Ava; Nephews, James, Stephen, & Joseph and many cousins.

Family, friends and others whose lives Mark touched are invited to Bedell-Pizzo funeral Home, 7447 Amboy Rd. from 2-4 & 7-9PM on Thursday, January 16, 2020 to reminisce, grieve, support each other and to say our final goodbyes to a wonderful, never-forgotten man.
