Mary Balderacchi

Mary J. Balderacchi (née Guglieri), passed away on August 23, 2025.

Mary was born on September 5,1930 in Brooklyn, New York to parents, Louise and Bartholmew. She is survived by her brother Anthony Guglieri; her son, Gregory Balderacchi; and her two grandchildren, Iva and Marc.

In the 1960's she joined the United States Marshals Service as an Administrative Assistant. Mary then became a Deputy U.S. Marshal in 1978 and continued on a storied career that led to her becoming the first female Supervisory Deputy U.S.Marshal in the history of the Marshals Service.

Visitation on August 27, 2025 at Bedell Pizzo Funeral home, 7447 Amboy Road, Staten Island, NY from 4:00PM to 8:00PM

Mass of Christian Burial on August 28,2025 at 10:30AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 6097 Amboy Road, Staten Island, NY

Interment following Mass at Calvary Cemetery, 49-02 Laurel Hill Blvd, Woodside, NY 11377.
