Moira Juliano, a proud Irish-American Colleen, passed peacefully at age 85 years.
Remembering her with deep love and warm affection are her husband, Donald; their four children, Dina, Lisa, Stacie, Donald Jr.; their 12 grandchildren, Nicole, Shannon, Danielle, Justine, Alexa, Jesse, Kelsey, Joseph, Victoria, Gabrielle, Dominick, Anthony, and great-grandchild, Luke.
Moira's style was modest, though she accomplished much in her lifetime that would not go emblazoned in headlines, beginning with raising her loving family while caring for her dear mother, Rose.
After serving as an administrative assistant for years at shipping companies, Moira retired and fulfilled her lifelong ambition to earn a B.A. and M.A., which she accomplished with honors in her 60's.
Moira was an outstanding dancer. You gave the beat and Moira did the dance. Her husband, Donald, often said, She lead me while dancing and made even me look good. They traveled the world, including Australia and China, and loved it. Family cruises and vacations in Cancun and in the States were also enjoyed by the Juliano family.
The vote is in: No one, yes, no one, could match Moira's Irish soda bread, corn fritters, St. Patrick's Day parties, her decorative talents, her personal style of dress, and her love for her family. We will miss her dearly and will always cherish and hope to follow in her footsteps. May she rest in peace.
The funeral is from Bedell-Pizzo on Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial is at St. Charles R.C. Church at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday. Interment is in Moravian Cemetery. Friends may visit today, Sunday, from 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
