Pasquale Romano

September 13, 1967 — September 25, 2025

Pasquale Romano, affectionately known as Patsy to all who knew and loved him, passed away peacefully surrounded by his entire family on September 25, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on September 13, 1967, in Brooklyn, New York to the late John (JR) Romano and Grace Romano. Patsy's life was defined by deep devotion to his family, unshakable patriotism, and an infectious joy that lit up every room he entered.

Patsy is survived by his wife Janine of 35 years, his 2 twin daughters, Jamie and Jianna, 24. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Rosemarie Sanseverino (brother in law Louie Arpaia), Grace Ann Grzeckza (brother in law Kenneth) and Janine’s twin sister Jamiel Tranchina (brother in law, Mark ) and 10 nieces and nephews.

Patsy began his career working alongside his family at Romano Transportation in Staten Island, helping build and grow a business rooted in dedication and community values. His professional journey later took him into the world of technology, where he served with excellence as Vice President of IT at Barclays International for the past 14 years. His leadership and innovation left a lasting impact on all who worked with him.

While his accomplishments were many, Patsy's true pride and joy was his family. He was a devoted husband and father, never more fulfilled than when caring for his beloved twin daughters — his “miracles from God” — born at just 1.5 pounds, now thriving young women at 24. Patsy's love story with his wife began serendipitously on one of the bus routes he once helped manage — a meeting that blossomed into a lifelong partnership filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.

Patsy was a patriot through and through, a proud supporter of President Trump and the MAGA movement. He was also a dedicated New York Mets and New York Giants fan, rarely missing a game and always ready to talk sports. His passions included photography, music, and the finer things in life — never without a sharp pair of Ferragamo shoes or a colorful Robert Graham shirt. Larger than life in both stature and spirit, Patsy was the life of the party — his booming laugh, warm smile, and vibrant personality made him unforgettable to everyone he met.

Patsy’s legacy is one of love, laughter, strength, and steadfast values. His family and countless friends will carry forward his memory with pride and gratitude for the many moments shared. He will be deeply missed.
