Patricia Jurgeleit

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Patricia Jurgeleit, 65, of Tottenville, a real estate broker who enjoyed taking road trips with her husband, died Thursday in Staten Island University Hospital, in Ocean Breeze.

Born Patricia Mastrangelo in Brooklyn, she graduated from high school in her native borough. She lived in several Island communities before settling in Tottenville in the early 1980s.

She had been working for 10 years as a broker at Own-A-Home Realty, Bulls Head.

Mrs. Jurgeleit was the former president of the PTA at PS 1 in Tottenville.

She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed traveling on road trips with her husband.

"She was a great mom, she was loved and she will be missed," said her son, Christopher.

Also surviving Mrs. Jurgeleit are her husband of 36 years, Dieter; her son, John, and three grandchildren.

The funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville. Burial will follow in Ocean View Cemetery, Oakwood.
