Richard A. Robinson, III

Richard “Rich” A. Robinson III, 62, of Staten Island, New York, died February 13, 2024, at his home from natural causes. 

 He was born on January 23, 1962, to R. Elaine Whitham and Richard “Robby” A. Robinson Jr. in Augsburg, Germany. 

 Rich studied Accounting at St. Martin’s University and worked loyally for the public as a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Chief Financial Officer up until his passing. 

 During his spare time, Rich was an avid world traveler, having visited every US state and most of Europe during his life. At home, he was a gamer, football lover (Go Chiefs!), strawberry milkshake connoisseur, and massive foodie…….

 He married Naomi Shiroishi on March 23, 1992 and were together for nearly 30 years. Together they had five children, Sakura Smiley (30), Seika Robinson (29), N. Rose Robinson (26), Rieko Robinson (25), and Mikiko Robinson (21). Rich is also survived by his sisters, Sharon Losey and Rene Rivera, and beloved pets Nova, Eris, Solomon, and Jiji.
