Rosalie Noceti, a beloved mother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025 at the age of 93. Born on December 19, 1931 in Brooklyn, she touched the lives of those around her with warmth and love.
Rosalie worked in accounts payable at Kingsborough Community College before retiring.
Rosalie was a devoted Eucharistic Minister in Aventura, Florida, a role that exemplified her deep commitment to her faith and community. In recognition of her charitable and volunteer work, she was honored with South Florida Catholic Woman of the Year award by the National Council of Catholic Women. Additionally, she served as the former President of the League of the Sacred Heart at Our Lady of Grace in Brooklyn, leaving a lasting impact on those she served.
Throughout her life, Rosalie cherished her personal passions. She was an avid reader, often found lost in the pages of a good book. Baking brought her joy, allowing her to share her love through treats made for family and friends. A skilled knitter, she created beautiful blankets for loved ones, including babies, enveloping them in her warmth and affection. Tennis was another of her passions; she loved attending tournaments and enjoyed watching matches on television. Her fondness for soap operas and the Hallmark channel brought her many moments of laughter and joy.
Rosalie lived in both Staten Island, NY, and Aventura, FL, spreading her light across states and among diverse communities. She will be dearly missed by her loving family, which includes her daughter Barbara Noceti, her son Stephen Noceti, and her sister Gloria. Together, they will carry forth the legacy of love and kindness she instilled in them.
Rosalie is predeceased by her loving husband, Frank Noceti, with whom she shared many cherished memories and a lifetime of love. She is also predeceased by her beloved parents, Fred and Rose Torregrossa. As we remember Rosalie, we celebrate a remarkable woman whose spirit and dedication to others will forever endure in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
