It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Rose Savarese, who passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 12, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, Rose lived a life of devotion, strength, and deep compassion. She was the heart of our family—a source of warmth, comfort, and unwavering love. Her gentle presence brought people together, and her legacy will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
Rose was known for her incredible cooking, her quiet wisdom, and her deep commitment to her family. She led by example—with grace, humility, and an open heart. Whether through holiday meals, handwritten notes, or shared stories, she created memories that will be cherished forever.
Rose was more than a grandmother—she was a mentor, a storyteller, a peacemaker, and a keeper of cherished family values. Her hands were rarely still, always baking, cooking, or creating something to bring others together. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and deeply loved.
She is survived by her son Frankie and daughters Camille & Nancy, as well as seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; she was preceded in death by her husband Anthony and her son Anthony.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Rose’s life will be held on Monday October 13th at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home from 4PM-8PM. Friends and family are welcome to join in remembering a truly remarkable woman.
Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave and the values she passed down will remain with us always.
