Salvatore Parlagreco

Salvatore Parlagreco, 92 of Brooklyn, NY passed away peacefully on February 17, 2022. He was born and raised in Enna, Italy on March 4, 1929. Salvatore immigrated to the United States in 1961 with his beloved wife Rosina and settled in Brooklyn where he continued to pursue his carpentry career. Salvatore was best known for being a skillful carpenter and craftsman who had a lifelong passion for woodwork. He was also an avid gardener who loved planting his fruits and vegetables each year.

Salvatore married his beautiful wife Rosina on July 31, 1957, and together they had four sons. He is preceded by his parents, his brother John, sister Lena and his beloved son Mario. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Rosina, his sons Joseph, John, Angelo, and his wife Joann. "Papa", as he was lovingly called by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren also leaves behind his 10 grandchildren (Salvatore, Lauren, Angelo, Stephanie, Megan, Kristen, Nicholas, Johnny, Isabella, and Valentina) and 4 great-grandchildren (Evelyn, Luke, Emma and Mia) who he adored.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 22 from 3:00-7:00 pm at Bedell – Pizzo Funeral Home, 7447 Amboy Rd. Staten Island, NY., 10307. A mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 23 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Help of Christians Parish, 7396 Amboy Rd. Staten Island, Ny, 10307
