Savannah Burdick

Savannah Grace Burdick, 45 days, of Huguenot, whose life and memory will cherished by her parents and grandparents, died Friday in Cohen Children's Medical Center, New Hyde Park, L.I., of severe neuromuscular disease.

Savannah was born in Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze, and spent the first month of her life there. She was transferred to Cohen Children's Medical Center two and a half weeks ago.

We are grateful that we were able to hold her, said her parents, Jennifer and Michael Burdick.

Along with her mother and father, Jennifer and Michael, Savannah is survived by her maternal grandparents, Debra and Victor Rodrigues, and her paternal grandparents, Thomas and Lynne Burdick.

The funeral will be Tuesday from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville, with a mass at 12:30 p.m. in St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, Pleasant Plains. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, also Pleasant Plains.
