Teresa A. Weeks

Teresa Weeks, 92 of Staten Island, NY. Born in Manhattan and raised in Bronx, NY. Teresa(my Mom) attended Walton H.S. and College of Mt. St. Vincent. She became a teacher and met my father Louis in Immaculata H.S., where he also taught. They married in 1957 and raised seven children together living in the Bronx and then Staten Island. At some point in the '80s she returned to teaching and taught at Canarsie H.S. until she retired. In her retirement she was finally able to do some long awaited traveling with my Dad. My parents were inseparable throughout their lives together and even more so in retirement. They enjoyed day trips, walks to the store, library and park. Gardening and reading also filled their days. They would stop each other discuss what they were reading!! My Mother has read thousands of books over the years. Still reading and doing crosswords up until a few months ago. Her grandchildren gave her great happiness and she was very devoted to them. They are her children's children and they were loved as we were. She will be missed forever.
